hmmm..now how the hell will Obama blame Bush on his falling numbers? He'll just say that Bush created such a terrible mess that no one could fix it - that he's trying, but it will take a very long time. Then he'll start all sorts of investigations into Bush Administration practices. And he'll start crying that the American people are spoiled and childish and expect instant gratification and are unwilling to make sacrifices. Then he'll start quoting the Bible - maybe some Old Testament prophet - to show how sinful we have become, under the demonic Bush. (He may even borrow some stuff from Jeremiah Wright.)

He should do all this live from his Martha's Vineyard Grand Vacation...perhaps aboard a Kennedy yacht to invoke JFK with Michelle in big shades and a kerchief a la Jackie lounging in the background. That would work.
