And does anybody who touts Canada's healthcare as a model ever bother to note that the population of Canada is 33 million people, about one-tenth (!) of the population of the United States? Why should any sensible person believe that government-run healthcare for 300 million people will work, when government-run healthcare for 33 million people is failing? There's no reason at all, of course. Indeed, it's only reasonable to expect hopelessly catastrophic failure from the program for 300 million people.
But, no, Obama says that's wrong. So let's just follow our Dear Leader into the abyss...
I was born in Texas. You’d be surprised how many in my family do NOT know that Canada has little more than 33 million people. They all look at the geography of the map and think “gee..that thar canada sure is BIG!”. Idiots, all.
