He's now a convicted felon. No right to keep and bear for life. that would almost be ironic since he evidently had no Right to keep & bear to begin with...hence the 'conviction'...

From what I heard on ESPN, he took a plea deal and got convicted of a lesser charge because he was worried that if he hadn’t, he would spend more time in prison. If only he would have put himself into the hands of a jury. If only I was on it.
