At the same time, we REDUCE the supply of used cars, we REDUCE the supply of used parts, we increase the cost of used cars and used parts -—
And we do NOTHING at all for the environment!

It takes far more energy to build new cars, and to destroy old cars, then any small fuel economy gain in the US fleet.
The environment would be better off WITHOUT this plan, this is ANTI-RECYCLING, this is WASTEFUL!
