I wonder what it would look like if they took the Penny Shoppers, Car Traders and Apartment Locators out of the newspaper total. IRRC, they didn't become serious players before the 80's. Thus they are counted now, but weren't counted then.

I wonder what it would look like if they took the Penny Shoppers, Car Traders and Apartment Locators out of the newspaper total. Yes, a good point. On the other hand, back in 1965 there were many more newspapers out there - big cities often had several morning and afternoon papers.
