Early on they speak of studies that show most family members do the wrong thing when faced with decisions from the patients view but they don’t name the studies; then they run a bunch of ‘what if?’ situations using named people as examples of such decisions; nowhere in this was it stated that these were real people or whether they were part of the uncited ‘studies.’ (Although that seems implicit)
A strong theme runs throughout the booklet as it makes its way to the obvious expectation that those who read it need to sign such a thing or face delays at the time such a situation is encountered.
Code Blue is the second most popular name for a pet dog by emergency room staff, I’ve heard.
Good question...where are these so called ‘studies’?
This is just a cold and calculated way for the government to ‘cut costs’ so that they can spend our money on even more government programs and social engineering! The whole thing is sickening. Especially the ‘questionaire’. It is not the government’s business to determine or help determine ‘quality of life’ issues for anyone....much else healthcare decisions!
And don’t you just love the fact that Obama and the democrats are trying to guilt our veterans into dying....while at the same time ordering private jets for themselves and going on lavish vacations on our tax dollars!!
PATHETIC!!
