I opposed GWB’s nation building policy.
I am sure if I was a freeper then I would have been called a left wing socialist.
Having said that, I have noticed the left’s quietness when it comes to BHO’s nation building.
Had GWB been a dem, there would have been no anti war movement

What “nation building” occured under GWB? Or, for that matter under any recent President?

Nah, you would not have been labeled that, I was against the war before the start of it and so were other Freepers. You might have been challenged on your reasons for being against it, but I never felt attacked. BTW, I was against it for 2 reasons: we would fail because the left and the media would actively go against it and Iraq is not a natural country but at least 3. Hard to win a war with one hand tied behind your back. I still think Iraq will be partitioned in the future. Today's bombing is evidence that we still have a lot work to do.

I didn’t. A strong and stable Iraq is of strategic importance to us and you don’t get it by bombing the crap out of it and running away. I was for nation building of japan and germany after WW2 as well.
The problem with Clinton’s nation building was that he tried to do nation building in all kinds of dinky countries like Haiti and while also cutting spending on defense.
