Hey, I'm not defending this twisted satanic freak. I'm just saying that even the parents admit there's no evidence to prosecute this as a racial crime. After all, murderous sociopaths commit these heinously savage crimes against members of their own race all the time too. Jeffrey Dahmer managed to hit every ethnic group in the book, didn't he?

I happen to think ALL crimes like this are hate crimes & in a weird way, for anyone to try to peg this as a racial 'hate crime' actually trivializes the unvarnished evil this perp committed against those 2 innocent people.

No we are not trivialzing anything, we are asking Lady Justice to put her blindfold back on. Justice cannot be asymmetrical. When it is it ain't justice. If whites can be accused of hate crime so can blacks. If blacks can't be accused the law needs to go.

I agree with you—we’re on the same side here. I think “hate crime” laws are stupid...but considering some of the flimsy criteria that are used to have “hate crimes” cut one way, this crime rises far above them, yet wouldn’t be prosecuted as a “hate crime” because it cuts the other way. It’s worth pointing out the double standard, even if we don’t think “hate crime” statutes are worth anything.

My main point in my post was that these four, after the heinous crimes they’ve (allegedly) committed, deserve nothing but a quick death after being found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
