Notice that the Dem congressmen sent "letters," not subpoenas, to these insurance companies. Can anyone hazard a guess as to why? It would seem as if mere "letters" don't have to be answered.

Dear Honorable Representitives,

I am in receipt of your request asking for information on certain areas of spending within my company. We are a publicly held corporation, and therefore our financial statements are in the public domain. I would refer you to these public sources of information for the information you seek.

You however, have demonstrated the worst possible stewardship of this country's resources by creating a one year deficit LARGER THAN ALL OTHER DEFICITS FORM ALL PRIOR YEARS COMBINED, APPROACHING $2,000,000,000,000.

If you worked for my company, you would have been fired long before you had the chance to do a small fraction of the damage you have done while in office.

In closing, your cheap grandstanding as represented by this request does little to cover your abject failure as stewards of our nations economy. I would suggest both of you resign immediately and promptly return any monies you have received in salary while in office.
