My wife was amazed when we saw a news story on tv about a nearly 70 year old woman who was busted for growing / selling dope. She couldn’t understand why an ‘old’ person would get into that, I had to explain that she (& her husband) didn’t just get into the drug scene, but that they had never left it. Got started in the mid-sixties and have been at it ever since.
I had many friends who’s parents were aging hippies in the mid ‘80’s and they thought nothing about sharing their stash with their 15-16 year old kids, some even handed out ‘shrooms and acid saying they would rather their kids get it from them then off the street. Damn I hated Eugene& I still do.
