We are. Certainly I am on almost a daily basis attending townhall meetings, think tank presentations, sending faxes and emails, letters to the editor, etc.
But you must realize that the Dems hold all the power in terms of votes. We can't stop them in Congress. Yet, the Dems are placing the blame on Reps. Why? They are trying to unify their own people by making this a partisan issue with the Reps as the boogeyman.
I am warning you. They will pass a healthcare bill. Obama and the Dems have too much invested in it. Their own survival depends on it. We must not give up after it is passed. We must continue to fight and win in 2009 (NJ and VA) and in 2010. If you think that all is lost after the Dems pass whatever they pass, then you are the one who is giving up. All is not lost as long as we continue to fight. Buck up, man.
We ought to be threatening bloody revolution to prevent this nightmare scenario.
I believe it’s just that serious.
You can put whatever salve on it you wish. It won’t be reversed and it won’t improve health care.
What it will do is send this country into a tailspin which will ultimately cost many lives—count on it.
If they pass it this country is finished.
It is inevitable.
This is universal law that we’re playing with. You cannot enslave one human to another and hope for something good to come of it. Millions and millions of humans have suffered and died because of this lie. We are doing nothing different than what’s been tried before—it is real-time mass suicide.
It is precisely what the founders warned of and worked so tirelessly against. It is exactly the thing they so bravely fought to free themselves from. It is all that they tried to prevent with the ingenious design of our system of government, self-government.
They are setting about to destroy the very thing that made this country great. Maybe someone can tell me how that will turn out any other way but really, really bad for this country and even the world.
If we’re lucky it will take 15-20 years to do its damage.
It will go down as one of the biggest human failures.
We’re about to murder liberty in the United States of America.
Sure, you can call me extreme if it helps you cope, but this is total war on freedom—a monumental human disaster in the making.
I can hardly believe it has come to this and I’ve studied political philosophy and the left for decades. They have a siren song with powers over humans that I don’t yet understand. It has happened so fast. Yet again, humans default to enslavement of, by and ‘for’ each other.
I also know that many of you don’t want to believe it is as grave as I put forth here. But ask yourself how this time is any different than any time in history. Just how sugjagating one man to another will achieve anything positive.
They are going to make slaves of you. It won’t turn out well. I don’t know how else to put it.
Your government will own you outright if this passes.
We will fall as a once-free country.
