Of course it’s that way. It’s been their plan all along. They don’t care about options that are offered up by the right. They want to ram it down our throats and hope it’s forgotten by the time 2010 roles around. And they also know that even if we take back the house and senate in 2010, Obama will veto any legislation that tries to correct the stuff they are going to put on us. This is going to get ugly down the road.
Don’t need to override any Obama veto. If we elect a Conservative House and Senate, they can just refuse to fund the health stuff.
They can refuse to fund lots of things, like NPR, The Department of Education, EPA, ... Just eliminate their budgets.
That is, of course, if we elect a real *Conservative* Congress and not a bunch of wishy-washies who cave to the media like last time.
