Sarah Palin has a job to get elected. Without the real bully pulpit, there can be no change, only protest. Without the actual power, there is only voice.
She is already working hard for us conservatives. Is she perfect? No, they crucified Him. Is she all that I want? No, I wish she was in Zero's face every day. He is responding to her, and it only makes her look stronger and him decidedly weaker. I like that!
I am against illegal immigration. But, I do not see any way to change things from the outside! WE need to start early and keep strong in supporting someone. I think Sarah Palin rises above the rest. She is electable.
Unless you haven't noticed, you still have to press 2 for English! I despise the status of illegals, but I know many of them personally and have not narced on anyone! I speak Spanish, and know that most of them are heading home anyways. The times are changing. The Dims want illegals to vote. They already are...

Let her put out a position paper, spelling out what she intends to do about it. Does she intend to combine "Path to Citizenship," with a severely tightened border? What about "anchor babies?" Etc. Lay off the platitudes.
IMHO, if you want the "hispanic" vote, i.e., the legal "Hispanic" vote ... stress your anti-abortion bona fides, talk about Obama's support for Castro, Chavez, Zelaya, Ortega, tell the Mexicans that their new country deserves as strict border control as their old one practices. IOW, get real. You might get 30% of the "Hispanic" vote.
Better yet, maybe she should keep quiet about immigration and keep hammering Obama and his ties to the Radical Left.

Heading home? Listen WV, we are going to wind up with a 30% "hispanic" population, no matter what we do. Let's get a handle on this and turn these illegals out, while we integrate the legals, or our grandchildren are going to live in North Latin America, which if your Irish great-great grandfather had wanted for you, he would have set the family up in South America.
We can handle immigrants from anywhere, but they have to be Americanized, as your family obviously was, not allowed to flaunt our laws to set up a bastard version of their homelands.
