Dear Mr. blam,
We appreciate your sharing your concerns about our advertising. Our organization remains true to its mid-western roots and values. Some would say that means were conservative. In the end, we hold true to our nations heritage that values free expression of varying political opinions. We advertise on Fox News, however, we felt Glen Beck went too far when he suggested poisoning someone with whom he disagrees. Rhetoric that reflects action that would result in death of someone is never acceptable to us. Therefore, we have advised our advertising agency that they should reallocate our Fox News buy among other Fox News programs.
Our wish overall is to move beyond the conversation about politics and focus on our primary mission to bring consumers great cheese products. We do not want to be associated with inflammatory speech used by either liberal or conservative talk show hosts. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your views with us.

HUH? I thought it was all about Glen calling Obama a racist. What gives?
Maybe you should write them and ask...
They’re either ignorant of the facts or lying.
I am a little out of the loop on this controversy, but this is the first reference I have seen to this statement. Is there a quote of him saying this, with context?
>>We advertise on Fox News, however, we felt Glen Beck went too far when he suggested poisoning someone with whom he disagrees<<
??????
I missed that.
You need to write back to them and ask for the EXACT quote.
This is from the ColorofChange website. They don’t say anything about poison.
“Stop the race baiting
Call on advertisers to drop
sponsorship of Glenn Beck
FOX’s Glenn Beck:
“This president has exposed himself as a guy over and over and over again who has a deep-seated hatred for white people ... this guy is, I believe, a racist.”
Beck is on a campaign to convince the American public that President Obama’s agenda is about serving the needs of Black communities at White people’s expense. It’s repulsive, divisive and shouldn’t be on the air.
Join us in calling on Beck’s advertisers to stop sponsoring his show. “
Sounds like Barb doesn’t much like Glenn herself.
Do you have her email?
We used to love Sargento products. Especially the string cheese. I’ll buy Kroger brand from now on.
my guess is Barbara voted O
I never heard him suggesting that anybody should be poisoned...though I kinda remember a spoof comment he made about polonium and Putin style vengeance once.
