At some point about five years ago, America became a One-Party Countryand the party in question was the GOP. Such, at least, was the conclusion of Los Angeles Times reporters Tom Hamburger and Peter Wallsten in the book they wrote under that title following the 2004 presidential election. Bizarre as their claim may sound today, it stood on solid ground. In November 2004, George W. Bush had won re-election with the largest number of votes up to that point in American history while racking up the seventh Republican win in the previous 10 races for the White House. Republicans, moreover, were in control of the Senate by a margin of 10 seats, and of the House by a margin of 30. To complete the sweep, they also boasted a majority of the nations governorships and a plurality of state legislatures.

Where to start? Well, if you don’t like justice across the spectrum, you can petition to change the Pledge of Allegiance. Take out “liberty and justice for all” and put in what you deem to be more appropriate.
Did you ever bother to read any of the links above? Did you even read the article behind the thread?
And maybe you could start by answering the question you have been dodging for weeks now. When a MacDonalds worker don’t make enough to pay rent or buy food, who picks up the tab? If its the taxpayer, then you love corporate welfare.
parsy, who says quit calling names and start reading and thinking
Any country that has tried that(equal outcomes aka socialism) always has failed. Every place. Every time. AS Mrs Thatcher so ably put it, eventually they run out of other people's money to spend and every one becomes impoverished.
I never dodged a question about McDonalds, you never asked me one. But since you have, do you actually believe most of those who work there aren't kids or entry level jobe people?
You sound like you're just a bitter, small minded man who is ragging on our system while you have luxuriated in it.
Let me guess......you're sixty and you still take orders at McDonald's.........
Parsy who is bitter.
LOL! Dude, you just dodged it. Is it corporate welfare or is it not?
And socialism isn’t “anything whatsoever that gov’t does.”
parsy, who is expecting his answer
You do work there don't you?
What's your DU or KOS handle?
My God! I feel like I’m raising kids again!
Here’s you a definition of socialism:
Socialism refers to various theories of economic organization advocating state, public or common worker (through cooperatives) ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with an egalitarian method of compensation.[

Minimum wages are NOT socialistic. There is no state ownership. It does not mandate equal pay for all. It simply sets a floor to wages for good reasons. It is not any more socialistic than building codes or stop signs.
parsy, who says please give “thought” a chance
I'm glad you're admitting the obvious, that you're a socialist fool. You skip from thought to thought, flit from idiocy to idiocy (your minimum wage insertion was just amazing), and wonder why no one takes you seriously.
Parsy, who needs some help......
Good night.
