Having dealt with e-mail lists and understanding the problems that can come from others ending up signing a person up and with people complaining about “spam e-mail” — it actually sounds more like the White House (at least this administration) is getting an early lesson in managing e-mail lists and how to *confirm* when someone actually wants on an e-mail list.
That’s something to be done by a confirmation e-mail in which — if — someone does not respond to the e-mail (in which it is explained what that means) — that they will not be placed on the e-mailing list.
It’s something that people who do manage “responsible e-mail lists” do all the time.
The White House, and this current administration sounds like they didn’t know how to handle it in the first place and that they are finally learning how to manage an e-mail list... LOL...
This political operation knew exactly the rules and how to handle it. They just got caught in their illegal activity. And they talked about the Bush Administration and privacy.
I've never sent an email to this administration.
Nice try! Another stretch of your imagination to support your usual defense of our ruler's intentions.
The WH occupants are not stupid...evil yes..but not stupid. They knew exactly what they were doing with the creation of the medium for the "snitches" to help them with an enemies list.
