Barrett and his family .. saw an altercation and heard a woman shouting that someone should call 911. Barrett began calling 911 when the suspect who had been attacking the woman, ran toward Barrett and began striking him with a metal pipe.

I guess 911 safety is nothing but a pipe dream. CCW makes for a polite public and a wary criminal population. Ever been to a gun show? Everyone there is so polite and respectful.

The woman who originally called for help was not injured.

Well, then why was she yelling for someone else to do it? And did the woman file a police report? Did the mayor? Is the report available to the public? Trust but verify :)

Let’s have a little respect for the man. I don’t like his politics, but I don’t want to see the guy get beat up by a thug. Perhaps incidents like this will make guys like Barrett rethink things.

As far as Wisconsin, it’s a shame that the business environment is so bad. Besides the cold winters, it is a beautiful state. Northern Wisconsin is just terrific with crystal clear rivers and lakes. The democrats just ruined the quality of life for everyone there by raising taxes on businesses and people. What a shame.
