Well, then why was she yelling for someone else to do it? And did the woman file a police report? Did the mayor? Is the report available to the public? Trust but verify :)

Wisconsin is the only state I know of that is losing jobs to Michigan.
Let’s have a little respect for the man. I don’t like his politics, but I don’t want to see the guy get beat up by a thug. Perhaps incidents like this will make guys like Barrett rethink things.
As far as Wisconsin, it’s a shame that the business environment is so bad. Besides the cold winters, it is a beautiful state. Northern Wisconsin is just terrific with crystal clear rivers and lakes. The democrats just ruined the quality of life for everyone there by raising taxes on businesses and people. What a shame.
But Wisconsin does allow open carry. No permit is required.

As I recall, G. Mennen Williams (”Soapy” Williams), the former governor of Michigan was also mugged years ago. The best he could manage was to say to the mugger, “But don’t you know who I am? I’ve done so much for you!”

Guys like Barrett hardly ever rethink things. They have had a long time to do it in Wisconsin, too, and look what they’ve done with the place.
Nope, no sympathy for the guy. As ‘Rat mayor of the city, he had a duty to help someone being attacked, since he helped deprive everyone of their best means of defense. Better him to get creamed than an actual innocent bystander. At least if they hit him in the head, they couldn’t do any major damage.
Oh, I do. This is a State Fair on a weekend night and no other guy was around to help? No one heard this woman screaming?
Glad this Mayor stepped up.
I realized after I posted my comment that this Barrett is not the one by the same name who has published reports in opposition of Obamacare.
It does still seem odd.
