[[Ive received seasonal flu shots every year since 1991 and am happy to report not one case of flu since. Prior to that I got hit hard with influenza a couple of times.
BUT........... this swine flu shot seems different too dicey for my taste. Im 60 now so seem to be out of the age range of those who get hardest hit by swine flu. I think Ill pass on that vaccine.]]
I’m with you on this- Been gettign flu shot every year- never get reaction to it- but, as you say, this swine flu shot might just be a different animal altogether- I’m not well health-wise, and not sure if I’d survive a negative reaction (let alone GBS)- but I know I’ll probably not survive the swine flu as it causes pneumonia, which woudl be devestating because of my breathign problems- it’s definately goign to be risky— but then again even gettign hte ‘simple’ flus can be risky- uggh! Not realyl sure what to do in htis case- The n umbers look ok of the lcinical tirals, but then again, it was only taken in small minority of people- will have to see how htigns go I guess
I don't know what these shots do to a persons natural immune system. I suspect they interfere with older protections as you get newer shots and it might be a good idea to continue doing what you were doing. It would be a mistake to change now, with your health issues in my layman's opinion.
