-- The strangest thing about our "now-you-see it, now-you-don't" relationship with Somalia, that ungoverned space on the Horn of Africa, is why we have any relationship at all. Myself, I remember it well. I spent a week there on a USIA speaking tour in 1980. That was the country's "Age of Pericles," and it was pretty awful then.
Stupid!
You can be assured that any such warnings will be promptly ignored. This country will never admit that there are cultural differences too large to surmount in allowing people to migrate to this country. Perhaps I should modify that statement a bit by saying that they will never acknowledge those differences until this nation lies in ruin because of past immigration policies. Then, of course, it will be just too damned late.
Somalia is a lost cause until they realize that it is only they who can make things right with their government, we’ve spend enough money appeasing tribal thugs not to mention the most precious resource of all: the blood of our soldiers who were trying to bring justice. Nope. No more. The ROE needs to be: acquire target, make certain, take it out.
We can thank Ted Kennedy for this among all of the other evil things he’s done.
16 years ago they drug Shugart and Gordon’s bodies through the streets of Mogadishu and now we’re bringing them over here. Animals...
Immigration law 1965, thanks “greatest generation”. You doomed America and freedom and the American way of life.
