This is a pretty interesting article, but it just doesn’t seem to match up with the headline. “Bad hair day” doesn’t quite equate with nervous breakdown.

The tabloids at the checkout counter are saying that the Palins are getting a divorce. I don’t believe it because they are also saying that Michael Jackson was murdered. They must be slipping. Don’t they know that Jackson is not dead? That he has been spotted playing tennis with Elvis and both JFK’s?
If they are so wrong about Jackson, they can’t be right about the Palins.

I would like to know the details of Billy going to NK? Who called who? Who authorized his trip? When did Hillary find out? If this trip was planned/authorized without Hillary, then she has a serious problem as SoS...

what this incident showed is that she’s desperately insecure and has no wit. If that had happened to me, I would have said “My husband...oh, thanks for reminding me. I’ll ask him when I get home.” Or “What does my husband think? He thinks whatever I think, if he knows whats good for him.”

We all know there is a massive double standard in the MSM when it comes to reporting on blunders from Democrats (the good guys) versus Republicans (the bad guys). Republicans, as the assumed heavy/villain, are never given the benefit of the doubt. Democrats, as the sometimes flawed but well-intentioned public servant, always are.
If it had been Sec Rice instead of Clinton, what would the media have said? Bad hair day? Jet lag? Somehow i doubt it. More likely they would be saying that she clearly behaved in an un-statesman like manner, that it reflects poorly on herself, on the Bush administration, and ultimately on the country as a whole, while moreover playing into the “ugly American” motif and making us even more hated around the world.
