There are people who can't go on TV and say those things because of the positions that they hold. He's not one of them, so he's a safe pinch-hitter when they need someone to play the ridicule game. His sole purpose today was to attack the message that Palin was responsible for taking down the "death panels." To Liberals, nothing on the Right can go unchallenged, no matter how big or small, and no matter how suicidal the attack is on their side.
Bob Beckel is another liberal who says the wildest, clearly contrary-to-reality things, but he doesn't get personal like this guy does. Beckel's job is to be the defend-the-indefensible liberal on FNC.
It's just a job to them.

Watching Littman reminded me of Beckel. I wonder how these gasbags sleep at night after earning their daily bread making such nasty and calumnious assaults on people. Their self-hatred must be staggering.
