Sargento makes the best reduced fat cheese. There’s no competition out there. Now I gotta eat fatty cheese. On the other hand, Tillamouk has been noticeably absent from my life since I lightened my diet, so I’ll make them a visit.
I'm in the same boat. I'm not going to dump them just yet but I am going to send them a hand-written letter expressing my displeasure with them.
Their reply (if any) will determine what I do next.
I haven’t tasted the low fat cheese, but Wal-Mart brand (Great Value) regular cheeses are comparable. I couldn’t tell the difference, besides the price.
My wife says she thinks Cabot is better. Also Sargentos uses natamycin. Cabot doesn't in their chunk cheese.
