President Barack Obama once again claimed the AARP supports "this policy" at his town hall meeting in Montana. The AARP has yet to endorse any health care reform plan.

Bambi is probably lying. But even if he’s telling the truth: what the AARP wants, I usually DON’T want, and this would be no exception. The AARP are a bunch of socialists just like Bambi.
I am watching the Montana town hall right now. Is everyone up there on welfare and getting Medicaid or working for a commie non-profit? How did a bunch of independent minded rough and tumble ranch people all become dependent on the government crying for hand-outs? I cry for our country folks..

I doubt he’s lying. He’s simply too stupid to realize how this hurts AARP. I’m sure they support nationalized healthcare. That’s why they’ve been conducting meetings. But they can’t now acknowledge it because it fractures their membership. So all his remarks to the contrary merely dig AARP a bigger hole.
A caller to Rush explained that there are 5(?) American Indian reservations in Montana and the reservation healthcare, which is government-run, is so bad that the AIs have to go to other resources when sick or injured, and then those facilities do not get paid.
The reality is AARP will endorse obamacare and he knows it. AARP is playing the game since so many of its members got angry, many quit the organization but with 40 million members a whole lot more would need to quit to get the Execs attention.
What is the dowsnside to obama saying it? apparently nothing since he knows the AARP CEO said they hadn’t endorsed it yet and still obama says they have.

Anyone who has read all the literature they send out to their members, read every issue of their magazines the last six months, read their website & their related lobbying website for Obamacare at dividedwefail.com isn't confused about the fact AARP supports this bill at the expense of the welfare of their own supposed membership.
For once, the President told the God's honest truth: AARP supports this bill even though it really only serves the welfare of AARP's true constituents at the Democratic National Committee, and not the seniors, retirees & elderly they fraudulently claim to represent.
They’re scrambling over at AARP right now! I say we deluge them with calls, emails and phone calls asking why Obama is saying they DO support Obamacare.

He’s probably telling the truth. AARP just doesn’t want to admit it publicly so they are not deluged with letters containing shredded membership cards.
