Lucky you, but probably not so lucky for the rest of the group. Mommies do play favorites, and they do play mind games to get the kids to do what is wanted.
It's nice if you get the role of the favored child, but when you don't, you end up getting the cr*p that Mommy doesn't want to give to the golden child.
One thing good managers do is to NOT fall into the parental models. Teamwork and team leadership are not the same as as the family and parent models.
