I was browsing for a birthday card in Wal-Mart yesterday and saw a whole series of cards featuring goofy-looking pictures of famous people. Of course, George Bush was there. Notable by his absence? You guessed it: our current Dear Leader. I guess we’re going to have to wait a little longer for that card...

Something rather interesting along the same lines: We were in LegoLand in CA recently (July 31 & Aug 3) with our 6 y/o grandson. We were also there with him in Dec. 07.

They have this whole area where world landmarks, but mostly US landmarks are recreated out of Legos - including New Orleans Bourbon St, Las Vegas, Mt. Rushmore etc. There’s also the White House. In 07 it was the White House and some people milling about on the steps and on the mall etc.

NOW it’s an inauguration taking place in front of the WH. Guess who’s being inaugurated? There’s no big sign says it’s dumb0’s inauguration but it’s easy to tell that’s exactly what’s being depicted.

People from all over were standing there admiring this area but by far the most photos I saw being taken were of the WH. People were leaning over to see better, pointing out the man being sworn in, talking about how awesome it was that it was depicted so well and so on. I had to literaly walk away. I felt ill that this well known site for kids was taking a stand this way. Maybe I’m very wrong but I could swear there was no Bush inauguration being depicted when I was there in 07.

When we got home and I was going through pictures that everyone on the trip had taken (we “pooled” our photos so we’d all have different views to see) there were quite a few of the WH. I had to delete those. The man, his policies, his intimidation of dissenters and his attempt to remake this country into some socialist haven turn my stomach so much that I couldn’t stand seeing those photos.

Sorry. Didn’t mean for this to get so long. Maybe I’m over the top on this, I don’t know. I just know I can’t even stand to see him on TV or anywhere - he has so abused the trust all the sheeple placed in him by voting for him. Sorry again - thanks to anyone that reads this. Guess it’s just my morning blather....

Dems think criticism of Dear Leader is an act of racism. Maybe Walmart's intimidated...( is there such a thing as a liberal who's NOT thin-skinned and puffed up with self importance?)

Got a really funny card a couple of months ago on my b-day. On the front was a picture of 0 at the podium with “Barack Obama is President of the United States” written in bold letters. The caption iside said something to the effect of “After seeing that, getting one year older doesnt seem quite so terrifying does it?” One of the funniest cards I have seen in a while (and I got it from some younger liberal friends)
