Asbury Park looked pretty bleak on the tv. I’ve never been there, I just remember college friends who were from there.
It looked like most of the buildings in the Asbury Pk beach area were clap board, which made them look a lot worse than the brick row houses in Atlantic city. Was Asbury Park a Methodist camp ground?
Methodist camp ground? You may be thinking of Ocean Grove, which borders Asbury Park. My sour impression of Asbury Park a few weeks back was the beach area overrun with weeds and the once-nice pavilion looking like it was closed years ago. What a shame. Perhaps Hurricane HUD hit AP.
