If only We would be Granted PRESIDENT RICHARD CHENEY thru hardwork and GOD’S BLESSINGS in 2012! That will be a wonderful Blessing and Gift from GOD to AMERICA, OUR AMERICA!! and not that deranged one as designed by the Unrepentant Terrorist Pentagon Bomber and his Puppet, the TOTUS! and their Hench Thugs in ACORN, SEIU, and the likes!
As to the "disastrous" second term........hyperbolic and untrue. Cheney will not write such nonsense. He is intelligent, and he knows and respects President Bush.
Boy, have you got that right.
Ah, I see your point now - and you are most assurendly right about that.
Will be the first, and most likely the last, book about a Presidency I will buy.
(any future books will probably be how “someone” became king)
Bush read all those fake letters written to him - ginned up by professional dems - and wanted to "save" grannie. Or some sweet young thing or a victim of racial hatred - all made up stuff - written convincingly... For instance - this year we've identified ONE real racist - a woman who wanted black children out of a private club swimming pool. That's it. ONE. Versus about 200 million guilty whites ready to be flogged for the sins of white plantation owners they were never related to...
I always knew that Cheney was the force behind the policy successes of the WOT and in securing the USA from further terrorist attacks.
GW was not bad at all in his first term but he blew it completely in his 2nd term.
We needed two Cheneys in the White House, the one we had for international security, and another for domestic security which we did not have.
A second Cheney would have mercilessly brought down the democrat slush fund known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, would have jailed the robber barons of Wall St., would have prosecuted under RICO and outlawed ACORN and its spinoffs, would have pushed hard for federal election voting integrity and security, would have elevated the Census Bureau to be its own independent body, would have chased millions of illegals back across the border as Eisenhower did and would have completed construction of the southern border fence in a few years, and on and on.
GW paid a lot of lip service but lost the will or ability to fight the Left. It is still a mystery to me what happened to him after his successful first term. Perhaps it was the incessant drumbeat of ‘the Iraq mistake’, the insurgents and their propaganda amplified by the treasonous American press. But when Petraeus turned everything around, GW should have come out swinging. Why didn’t he?
That well may be *their* motive, but I don't see how it could work, because nothing here says Cheney is agreeing with anything the loony left said about Bush. Rather, he is criticizing Bush for not standing up to these anti-American SOBs strongly enough. He had tons of ammo to use against them but chose to sit there, be silent and, for the most part, take it and even give in to them.
Historic evidence to refute that talking point...
1. McCain. Hapless, ran an awful campaign, was a terrible candidate
2. Slobbering media that covered up Obama's radical past and incompetancy
3. Dem caused financial collapse (well timed)
4. Millions of overseas dollars going to Obama illegally
5. Manufactured "white guilt" causing otherwise responsible people to vote for Obama
6. Dick Cheney did not run and McCain ran against Bush, not Obama.
7. American Idol generation voted for American Idol candidate.
8. Non stop negative press on Bush for 8 years
9. Non stop negative news about Iraq and weak and spineless Republicans in Congress running away from the CinC
Of course, that's not all, but the facts don't support the talking point, pgkdan. I know it won't stop you folks from spreading it around, but you can't back it up with evidence.
And feelings don't count.
He will say where he disagreed, but he will not satify the Bush haters' desire for vengeance.
He, like his boss the President, whom he respects, is a classy man.
Amen...and you can thank Bush's peformance for ushering in OWEbummer. The McCain/Palin ticket was 3 points ahead in early October until Bush announced: "folks, we have a echo-nom-meeks cry-sis on ah hands"
And even when it's pointed out to them, they ignore the chance to be set free, and charge boldly down into the propaganda abyss.
(Note - some here actually do think that Cheney was the boss. LOL!)
Excellent!! I was about to respond with something similiar, but it would never have been as good as yours. Nicely done.
It's curious that in this case, the BDS also reveals a fundamental lack of knowledge of and respect for Dick Cheney.
I wonder if these folks really mean to do that?
Feel free to add more facts to refute the nonsense. I'd be honored. :)
I'm one of the last ones here to fall into any leftist 'traps', but this story could not possibly help the left since it is not saying Cheney is agreeing with the loony left on anything, but rather that Bush didn't fight them as strongly as he should have. If anything, it would make some libs more sympathetic to Bush.
Obviously, the kind of "truth-telling" this article is lying about would give Zero and his minions even more to bash Bush about, provide fodder for the MSM to do endless coverage of how divided the Repubs are and distract from the left's push for socialism, probably allowing both the health care and cap and trade to pass.
Cheney's no turncoat. What the WP and many Freepers on this forum are hoping for just isn't going to happen.
More than likely what is really happening...Cheney and Bush are coordinating their books (along with Condi) to explain their actions over the last eight years and clarify much of what the MSM and other liars and enemies of the US distorted.
He, like his boss the President, whom he respects, is a classy man.
I never said I expected anything less from Cheney and I never said that Bush or Cheney were anything less than honest, decent and classy men. That doesn't deny the fact that Bush's second term was a disaster...largely because he went soft. He tried to appease the press and the left and he got devoured by them instead. And while he wwas playing nice nice with Nancy he was calling us racists. And I don't think I'll ever forget the callous way that Bush treated Scooter Libby and Campeon and Ramos. We, as a party and as a nation would have been MUCH better served by a President Cheney.
You have a profound gift for understatement.
yep, exactly....
