The smug look on O'Donnell's face makes me want to smack him--as if he caught her in something. If only they would question Obama this hard (pipe dream).

Katy Abram is obviously what she says she is--a concerned stay at home mom. If I had been her friend, I would have advised her not to go on the Obama supporting MSNBC in the first place. She obviously has better things to do and doesn't know what jerks they are to people like her.

Sitting from the comfort of my computer admittedly, when he smuggly asks her about getting rid of SS and Medicare, she could have said to the affect that those two socialist programs are failed--they will run of money soon, but it's hard to put the genie back in the bottle as O'Donnell well knows. That's why this boondoggle called Obamacare must be stopped now. Also, when he asked if her parents will utilize Medicare, if I had been in her shoes, I hope I would have said--my parents are adults. I don't advise them on how they should run their lives.

Of course in reality, I wouldn't have done nearly as well as she did--I would have probably sounded more like Ralph Cramden trying to apologize to Alice, but that's what I would have hoped I would have said.

I certainly wouldn’t have done as well as Katy did. First of all I wouldn’t have gone on there, period. But, if in my nightmare I did go on there I would have told him to SHOVE IT UP HIS SMUG ASS on national television. Then my family would have washed my mouth out with soap and disowned me! roflol!

“...when he smuggly asks her about getting rid of SS and Medicare...”

That idiot (O’Donnell, that is) probably doesn’t even know that the unfunded liabilities for those programs are over 100 trillion dollars - and those are government numbers.

So here’s a clue, O’Donnell - when we’ve got a government that’s already committed to spending $100 trillion+ that we don’t have (and aren’t going to get), let’s add another inane entitlement that encompasses one-seventh of the economy - and then let’s put the jerkwads who run the postal service in charge to really add to the fun.

McCaskill (sp?) pulled the same crap at the "town hall" (really lecture) held in MO. Every time the libs bring of this "Medicare" and "Social Security" strawman, we should throw it right back in their ugly faces. The report I saw today noted the trustees of those programs estimated $107 trillion in unfunded liabilities for those two programs. Do we want another $100 trillion+ unfunded liability, to carry their own analogy to it's logical conclusion? Use their own comparison against them. We've already got liabilities on the books that if you took all the money in the world from everyone you couldn't pay for. How can we even think about putting another one in place?

As far as "getting rid" of anything goes, we don't have to worry about that. Those programs are getting rid of themselves. A Ponzi scheme eventually self-liquidates. Either that or they will "get rid" of us (through bankruptcy and collapse).
