Have a handful of left-wing advocacy groups been able to hurt Fox News Glenn Beck program by pressuring their advertisers to drop their ads?
Online left-wing news sources are claiming victory after several advertisers Sargento, GEICO, Lawyers.com, Progressive Insurance, Procter & Gamble, and SC Johnson have decided to move their spots to other Fox News programming from Becks program. However according to Fox News, its not costing the network any revenue.

I don’t care what sponsors are doing, I will continue to watch Beck; NOT because I agree with HIM, but because HE agrees with how I ALREADY saw the world.
Actually, boycotting businesses is one of the most democratic things we can do (small d democratic not big D). I say, go for it. And let them know exactly why.
Glenn’s audience is up something like 125% over last year this time. If those sponsors drop out the only ones they’re hurting is themselves. Let’s see, the viewship of Glenn’s show versus the liberal complainers who watch CNN or MSNBC. Glenn’s show draws more watchers during that hour than all the other news stations combined. I don’t think Fox or Glenn have anything to worry about.
Years ago my father told me that life is lived on two-way streets. Boycott back and let them know it.
I think GEICO is a Warren Buffett/Berkshire Hathaway company...
Isn’t Progressive Ins. a Soros owned company? My husband read that the other day.
Sponsors? WTH watches commercials anyway?
I just went to the Sargento website, sargento.com, and informed them that their products will no longer be in my grocery rotation.
We can play that game too!
How would I find out if they did drop advertising on Beck?
Just notified P&G that they are also “on the list”...and I’m not talking about the Christmas list.
I think the CEO of Progressive is Peter Lewis, who is a big liberal moneyman.
Sorry Rufus, I violated my own policy!

The article contains all the info I need!
Fox News said they did
Sargento, Never eat that brand
GEICO, Commercials getting old and stale
Lawyers.com, Would never use them anyway
Progressive Insurance, Can’t get much more annoying than that one!!!
Procter & Gamble, Can do without
and SC Johnson Can do without their environmental messages
So...what’s the big loss? We will ALWAYS watch Glenn.
Ugh - Olbermann doing a victory lap about it right now...
Obama’s cohorts are like Nazi thugs. Time to support Glen Beck. We’ve got to defend each other against the people who would silence us and take away our rights.
FrontPage Magazine explains Soros and Peter Lewis, head of Progressive Insurance.
