My family and I have contacted the sponsors that pulled out from Beck’s show and let them know we will not be purchasing any of their products at any time in the near future if ever again. I asked the representative of these companies what would happen if all of Glenn Beck’s TV viewers and radio audiences were to boycott them in return, would it be worth them pulling ads. After all the colorofchangeonly has 600,000 members and Glenn Beck has millions of viewers and listeners. I also asked them which group had the most buying power........I got silence as a response. Go figure!
I have a very good friend whose son is getting married and they were going to The Mens Warehouse to order a bunch of stuff. I called her this morning and told her of the ad-pulling. Her family is not using the Mens Warehouse now and the word is getting out.
A small victory, to be sure, but it feels great nevertheless.
