Doesn’t it remind you of that movie “Dave” where they send the VP on a pointless trip to Africa to get him out of the way. He returns with a bunch of drums and witch doctor masks that were gifts to the President. It’s even more galling in real life considering Obama’s (cough)famous Kenyan roots would imply that anything important in Africa would get some personal attention from him.
