AARP is just as scared as the rest of the Dihms. One of their spokesmen was on O'Reilly denying that AARP had endorsed anything.

He never really answered the question BO put to him.

Glenn Beck had an AARP spokesman on last week who was defending the plan as great for seniors. Apparently they’re getting a lot of flak from their members.

AARP is lying. They’ve been running ads in support of health care reform.

How many AARP constituents are “uninsured?”

Nine out of ten Medicare recipients have private, supplementary insurance to cover what Medicare doesn't.

By 2018, less than 10 years from now, Medicare Part A will be running a deficit of close to $100 billion. General revenue contributions for Medicare Parts B and D that year are now projected to be $364 billion. Consequently, the deficit for Medicare alone that year will be close to $500 billion, and that assumes a scheduled reduction, which Congress will surely reverse, in doctor and hospital reimbursements of more than 20 percent.

AARP is treading on very shaky ground! I didn’t like their endorsements during the election, and I certainly don’t like them being one of 0bama’s lap dogs.

AARP is probably getting a lot of cancelations due to their obviuous being in bed with Obama on healthcare “reform”. I think Obama will show AARP as the obvious partisan group that it has always been, greatly weakening it in the process. This is similar to the way Bill Clinton just about was the indirect cause of the destruction of the credibility of NOW as a “non-partisan” group.

I hope there’s another group that can effectively compete against AARP, and could profit from this episode.

Technically AARP is not endorsing ObamaCare. But for all practical purposes they are. I would like to see the back room deal between AARP and Obama. I’m betting that AARP has been promised a major role in the development and administration of Government Healthcare. That’s the Chicago Way.

He never really answered the question BO put to him.

Bill got an email on that last night and Bill said that the guy did answer--that they support some aspects but not the full bill yet.

In this case, I do not think Obama lied.

I think AARP are the ones who are lying.

I am pretty sure they heartily supported “The Final Health Solution” when it was first proposed; but that they then began taking A LOT of heat from their members as its draconian details became more widely known.

Their recent statement saying he “went to far” appears to me to be a flip-flopping, face-saving, gesture on their part to try to quell their members’ anger.
