Some folks in the USA are the same way. I was in Tombstone a while back and a gent from Illinois asked how all those re-enactors were allowed to cary guns.
He was amazed that AZ is an open carry and CCW state. I added that unlike IL, AZ citizens do no need a state license just to own a gun.
Some of those police don’t seem to be very enthusiastic Obama supporters.
Brits have permitted their radicals to totally take over their lives and they are abusive as heck. Each to his own, I guess.
Glad our founders parted ways with them and I think it is time the US part ways with our royalty and their nasty subjects.
It’s sometimes said with only the tyrants but I think the original said both. Which makes sense if you think about what he was trying to say: the things which must occur periodically to ensure liberty will result in the shed blood of tyrants and patriots. He’s not saying that shedding the blood of patriots, or even that of tyrants, is an end in itself, merely that it’s the inevitable outcome of the necessary events.
Don't be too hard on Prissie Chrissie. Obama's candidacy and presidency is the first time in years he's had a tingle up his leg, so anything that could even be CONSTRUED as a threat to Obama is big stakes for him.

Our police in Michigan use to have guns and billyclubs...Dad was a mounted man and said a crowd or riot would disperse pretty quickly with a row of mounted men swinging billy clubs come at them full gallop...He was a cop during some of the early union riots in Detroit..
