It's this "we the people can't handle our own lives" attitude, this "only professionals can make good decisions for us" attitude, that's gotten us into the fix we're in.
That's precisely what we're protesting. And some FReepers are siding with the "only government can take care of you" folks without realizing it.

BTW, I was once a member of Sheriff Arpio’s Posse (unpaid) does that count or do I have to consider myself one of the unwashed masses?

But then, remember the cop who shot himself in front of a classroom full of kindergarteners? That would be fourth graders, according the title at your link. But the point is still valid. I'd just prefer it be made with accuracy.
