"“But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.”

Sounds like someone is trying to twist a quote from the Gospel to mean something it doesn't.

The "sword" Christ is talking about is his gospel.(word)

It goes both ways, both for to be prepared and to preach Christ’s Gospel.

Uh, so you can sell your cloak and buy Christ’s word? No, I don’t think that’s what he’s talking about. I think he’s saying SI DISEDERAT PACEM PREPARASCAT BELLUM.

gotta disagree, read it in context, The Lord was specifically speaking to physical needs/threats...

'we have two'..."IT IS ENOUGH"...

I know the deciples werent talkin about multiple gospels...

just as I know [opine] that Lord Jesus meant for them to provide for their own physical defense, as two swords isnt the requirement for offensive ops...

??

If, as you claim, the “sword” of Luke 22:36 is Jesus’ word - why would you have to sell your cloak to buy it?

More probably it was a Jewish short dagger (Greek: maxairan - Strong’s Number: 3162) used for self defense, not a long sword.

I can’t see any way to stretch the context and sentence to mean what you assert.
