What they don’t understand is there will never be any files. A friend works for IBM. He said they got a contract to write just such software, for maintaining medical records. They could never make it work. A database would have to be beyond anything currently available to maintain so much data. It pretty much just isn’t possible.

The IRS is maintaining such a database on our income with programs that are probably 30 or 40 years old.
