Yeah...that’s just it. I dunno know about that.
I think the “Health-care reform” town hall meetings do a far better job of both of those things.
For one thing, the media covers them more. For another, you are directly confronting the enemy (Congress) with others there who might be influenced.
At tea parties you are preaching to the choir with little positive media coverage. It seems like much heat with very little light (as opposed to the town hall confrontations or my earlier example of what we do at ProtestWarrior).
Anyway, that is why no matter how much I want to get excited about the idea, I just can’t. I wish they had a Town Hall meeting near me. Last night I was furious after watching the news.
