You VASTLY underestimate the self interest of politicians. Not a one will vote for ANYTHING if it jeopordizes their chance for re election.

I do not believe they comprehend the total amount of anger at them. They are not getting it - at all levels. You, I believe, are underestimating how the Senate is run. The fix is in and Reid will deliver 50 votes - no matter what the cost.
