****Palin was the only good idea out of all 12 they chose to list.****
I want a good explanation on why she quit the governorship before I back her for anything again.
She was one of a number of governors to step down early just this year alone—but she’s the only one who’s had an issue made of it because she is politically important nationally.
The Democrats were Cloward-Pivening her and Alaska to death with false ethic filings which ironically gave her the legitimate claim that she was stepping down for the good of the state. This was only possible of course because she had a simpatico lieutenant, whom she also helped by giving him a head start on the governorship.
I have much more respect for her stepping down 18 months early from her term than I do for the way Romney ran for president full-time, largely campaigning out of state for the last two years of his one term as governor of Massachusetts.
She’s obviously fighting a larger fight and already got lots, including her campaign promises, accomplished for Alaska, so there’s nothing quitter about her at all.
