Iran, not Iraq, always was the greater threat to the US.

I wish we would have kept out powder dry for Iran. Unfortunately, we have fewer options today than what we had before Iraq II.

(not flaming President Bush)

What do you mean we have fewer options now? WE HAVE IRAN SURROUNDED ON TWO SIDES...LOL. We just don’t have the political will to do anything and now that Obama the Apologizer wimp is in office..we won’t do anything anyway.

Iraq was, for many resons, the easier target also. Attacking Iran would have brought in the Chinese and at that time the whole mideast.

Bush left an Iraq that now could be a strong, democratic ally of the US...other than Israel, ...Iraq, the most powerful ally (size and location) with a secular history.

The tragedy is that NOW Obama is letting that slip away by removing troops, not backing Iraq (”cause it was the wrong war”) and the Baathists, and alQuieda know this and are regrouping, as are syria and even Iran.

I could cry when I think what the idiot in the WH is letting slip away after so much blood and treasure.
