That is one of the Communist tactic,my Friend. You accuse your enemies of doing what you do.

While they may not be your enemy, you are their enemy and they will kill you graveyard dead as soon as they get the chance.

This is nothing to them. They have been doing it since 2000 against President Bush.

We are now and have been since 2000 in a civil war. We are civil and they are warring.

Dollars to doughnuts that the calls that ate aired willl be hundreds to one for it.

The old people are scared now.The seeds thsy they sowed November 4, 2008 are almpst mature and ready for harvesting. They are beginning to realize that the Democrats want to and are going to kill them. Kinda like the Jews on the trains to the extermination camps.

2009 is the year that the Democrat Party threw one of their most loyal voting bloc under the bus. Why? Two reasons. 1. They are now a liability rather than an asset to them and the emerging illegal alien voting bloc. By the time the 2010 elections roll around, the illegals will have replaced the seniors and the seniors will become expendable.

Blacks, union members and teachers will suffer the same fate once their usefullness ends.

Like what happened in the French Revolution, Communist Russia under Stalin and others, Germany in the last days of Hitler, once the Democrats have killed everyone else, they will begin killing each other.

But the voters made their choice in 2008. Now they can live with it.

The phrasing of “Obama Deathcare” is taking hold.

Obama has lost this and he is desperatly trying to now spin it as INSURANCE reform.

I look to Obama to simply adopt Ronald Reagan’s suggestions in order to save his own political posterior. The blue dogs are going to be heading for the basement of the bus.

If they don’t want people “jumping in their faces” perhaps they should read all five bills and know what the H*ll they are talking about and why everyone is so upset?

She’s pissed about people “getting in her face?” Didn’t she get the memo? Her idol Obozo specifically called for his supporters to go forth and “get in their faces” when talking about him and his agenda.

If she is too much of a cowardly crook to face the People, than she is too much of a cowardly crook to be in Congress. And that goes for the other cowardly and corrupt politicians, Like Pelosi and Reid, and every other cowardly crooked politician that won’t face their detractors in a public forum. They aren’t fit to hold public office, and should be voted out ASAP, if not recalled first.

Agreed. They forget that THEY work for US. If they’re too afraid to meet with their bosses, hand ‘em a pink slip and show them the door!!!

I have just attended a meeting with some community members who were sitting on the front row of this event. It was very emotional. I found out a little background about the old man that was beat up at the Cathy Castor town hall. I have not spoken to him personally, but I heard his testimony on RUSH and I was moved.

I have not yet got my hands on the police report, and the Children's Board (the facility where the beating took place) CEO is being coy (see the letter and response below). A conservative friend who was “in the decision loop” that day at the time of the incident, advised the victim not to press charges. Why? Because charges would also have to pressed against the man who was beat up in addition to the union thugs who worked him over. “This would have played into the Democrats hands, by giving them a Republican who has been arrested, that they could spin as a pattern of violence. We considered it a better victory to have the videos of the attack that we could put up on youtube....”

One lady that I spoke to is a grandmother, and she was accosted and intimidated. She had to endure the sight of the beating of another elderly gentleman. She was nearly in tears. She said she would never attend another townhall in her life. “I don't need this.”

Is this really what we have come to? Old men and women victimized at the Children's Board? This is particularly distressing because the intended result of this violence, the dissuasion of average citizens to participate in a public forum, has been accomplished.

The following is an official response to a letter that I sent to the CEO of the Children's Board:

Mr. Wright,
You will find my responses below. Again, if you need additional information please do not hesitate to write or call me.

[THE LETTER]:
Thank you for your prompt reply regarding my questions about the Betty Reed and Cathy Castor town hall in which violent incidents occurred. You answered some of my questions but not others, please take the time to carefully and thoughtfully reply to my concerns, and confirm what I believe to be the responses to my specific questions.

It would be my supposition that you had discussions with the offices of Betty Reed and Kathy Castor prior to this event.

answer: I had a brief conversation the day before the event with Representative Reed. She called to let me know that she had been informed that there might be a contingent of people in opposition to health care reform attending the town hall meeting and that she had arranged for additional security. I asked if there was anything the Children’s Board staff needed to do in regard to the event and she said that they had the event “covered”. Someone from her office also talked to our facilities staff when they originally booked the room for the meeting.

There must have been a point, prior to the event, in which the volume of calls and inquiries would have given your staff an indication of the massive public interest in this matter.
answer: We did not have any unusual number of calls or inquiries prior to the event that would have given us the idea of the turnout. Not only were the Children’s Board staff taken by surprise but so were Representative Reed and Congresswoman Castor. Who took the lead in providing for police presence? answer: The Children's Board Staff  Representative Reed arranged for security (undercover police). When we saw the turnout and the agitation of the crowd I asked for additional police to be called in.Â

Did you know that a Union from outside our congressional district would be called in by the Democrat party?
Answer:Yes

The SEIU has a national history of complaints, and labor law violations. I am sure that your board would never take a position that would encourage outside agitators to come into our community and disrupt events. But this is in fact what happened.

Answer:
The Town Hall meeting was advertised as being co-hosted by the Representative and SEIU.
We were simply providing a meeting venue. Personally I didn’t even notice the SEIU was a co-host until after the event and I was and continue to be unaware of their history and linkage with any political party.

It is quite one thing for a grandmother to yell at her own congresswoman because she fears the bankruptcy of the Medicare program on which she depends.
It is quite another thing for a Union from outside our district to come into our community facilities and agitate against our senior citizen's free speech rights by waving “dumb-dumb suckers.” and other provocations.
It is still another thing for these outside agitators to be given preferred entrance, and preferred seating in our community facility.

Answer: CONFIRMED, but the responsibility of Mrs. Reed and Castor.

It is my hope that you will have a serious conversation with those involved in allowing this fracas to develop, in the hopes of defending the reputation of your good organization. Please Confirm The Children's Board should not provide a battlefield for Union Thugs to beat up old people, no matter how shrill those old men and old ladies can be, they live here and they have paid into the tax base which supports your organization for many years.

Answer: I have had three conversations with Representative Reed since the event. She has been very apologetic to the Children’s Board regarding how the event unfolded and how off guard we were in terms of the crowd. We are a regular site for Town Hall meetings of all sorts and will likely continue to be in the future. However, it is very likely that we will not host this type of event again in the future. Our conference room size typically dictates whether it is an appropriate venue for certain types of events.

I expect a serious reply on this matter quickly, with the names and contact information of those on your staff that allowed this event, and their instructions and understandings for the ground rules.

I expect transparency and openness in the hopes that future public conversations on Federal Health Care legislation can proceed with out violence.

Answer: Children’s Board staff do no establish groundrules or parameters for events held in our building unless they are our events. We, of course, expect civility and professionalism from all people using our facility. Our facilities staff booked the room for Representative Reed and that is  the only thing our staff for which our staff are directly responsible. Representative Reed has had at least a half a dozen town hall meetings in our building during the last two years.

In addition to the above questions,
I need to know if you, or anyone on your staff were aware of the SEIU’s pattern of labor law violations, intimidation tactics, and lack of domicile in Hillsborough County?

Answer: no

Will these facts play a role in future invitations or requests for use of community facilities?

Answer:Yes, I will discuss this issue with my Board to determine how best to handle this in the future.

What steps are being taken that appropriate policies are in place to prevent further misuse of facilities?

Answer: Same as above

What apologies are being made for the failure to anticipate the outbreak of violence?

Answer: As I have indicated, Representative Reed has been very apologetic and has taken full responsibility for the position this event placed the Children’s Board.

Just for the record, and in a manner which cannot be over-emphasized, the SEIU has been engaged in a pattern of violence at similar town halls across this nation. You have a duty to protect the public from situations which have a possibility of violence. It will not suffice to plead ignorance or defer the responsibility to another party should similar acts of violence, and abridgment of free speech occur in the future. Similarly, if another group should petition for use of your facilities, I would suggest that you make the appropriate inquiries as to the criminal backgrounds of the members of the group.

My guess is Mr. Wright’s facility is going to be “fully booked” well into the future the next time a politician wants to have a meeting there. What a nightmare for him. And what a nightmare for all those “rowdy” elderly people trying to talk to their Overlord, Rep. Castor.
