I am no Pub hack....I support their candidates but don't go to meetings, etc...

but here's an example of our Pub party members.....the Paul people basically swarmed the county convention and even though Paul wasn't even a candidate any longer, and even though we faced the prospect of having zero, this tyrannical maniac as president, those stinking delegates voted NOT to fund McCain/Palin bumper stickers or signs...

we are our own worse enemy....

until we develop a thick skin and a winner take all attitude like the rats, we are going nowhere....

McCain and Palin had a great chance.....despite the money differences, and the SRM, and the lies and the cheating, they could have pulled it out...

but we had people like the Paul people, stepping in the way....we had conservatives not voting, gun owners not voting, religious people not voting....

I am NO fan of Ron Paul, as his foreign policy appears no different than that of the liberals. However, lord McCain can shoulder 99.5% of the responsibility as to why the majority of Americans did not vote for him. He has a record and his record showed him NOT to be a leader for doing the 'right' things for this nation.

And in spite of my years ago declaration that I would never vote for lord McCain, I for the 'good' of this nation did go and cast a straight Republican ballot. I did it because of Sarah, she was the only candidate on the ballot that appeared to have the knowledge of what is required to lead this nation out of this liberal morass.

I agree- We’ve become complacent, hoping that the terrible policies of dems won’t affect us, that all we’ll have to do is weather the storm for 4-8 years, then everythign will ‘return to normal’ when the GOP returns to power- We’re simply too confortable to take a chance th4ese days- don’t want ot venture out of our comfortzones- Bet our founding fathers, and htose who stood up agaisnt Tyranny for us are rolling over i ntheir graves right now watchign htis country slip further and further away from being hte land of the free it once was
