I believe they are banking on dissent dissipating, that we will give up because it is too hard, too difficult and we will not forgo our daily lives for this nonsense.
They have laid the gauntlet down, all in as others have said. Are we willing to pick it up and do battle? I guess we will see.

It is not really that hard to do something. If you’re at the doctor’s office or getting an oil change or something and they have CNN on, just start making comments out loud. People will hear you. You might make someone think. You might embolden someone of like mind. It is not hard to just start saying things like “This is like the Soviet Union.” “What do they mean, dissent should be stifled. What happened to the first amendment?” Stuff like that.
Of course, union thugs or Acorn thugs might follow you out to the parking lot. That’s why you go everywhere armed.
They're either trying to silence us or instigate us into initiating violence. But they're certainly not wanting us to speak our minds and be heard.
I will not be silenced. Not by Pelosi. Not by Obama. And especially not by a gang of thugs.
