NEW HAMPTON – The family hosting Raymond Guay, a convicted child killer whose move to town has stirred deep fears among residents...
He served more than 35 years in prison for the 1973 murder of 12-year-old John Lindovsky of Nashua, as well as the 1982 kidnapping of a Concord couple when he escaped from the New Hampshire State Prison, and the stabbing with a fork of a fellow inmate while in a federal prison in California.
Selectmen feared they would be violating the state's open meeting laws if they all went to the Ulrich home -- unless the home was also open to all members of the public.
A federal judge in California ordered Guay to serve three years of probation in New Hampshire because of his family ties here. But his placement has also meant he is close to family members of John Lindovsky.

An older photo of Guay showed him with longer hair and a full beard. He has since cropped his hair short and trimmed his beard to a mustache and a goatee.
Mara said earlier this week that he wanted to release the new photo but was waiting for authorization.

Guinta said Guay was supposed to be going to a halfway house in California, but the halfway house rejected Guay because he was considered too dangerous.

Thirty-five years have passed since the nearly naked body of Charlotte Davis' 12-year-old son was found under the snow in a remote woodland in Hollis, a .22 caliber bullet lodged in his brain.
John Lindovski, Jr., a sixth-grade student at the Charlotte Avenue School in Nashua, was walking home from an afternoon square dance on Feb. 9, 1973, when he was picked up by Raymond Guay, Jr., 25, of Nashua.
Guay drove him to the Lone Pine Hunters Club property in Hollis. When the boy escaped the car and ran into the woods, Guay raced after him, hit him on the head and then shot him in the eye.
Had he not been murdered, John Lindofsky would be the same age as our PRESidENT...
He may pray to God and Jesus for forgiveness and eternal salvation, but that doesn’t get him out of having to pay the temporal price here on earth. Which by rights should have been death....
Move him to the Federal Judge’s neighborhood.
