An ad campaign featured on a U.S. Army website seeking those who would be interested in being an "Internment/Resettlement" specialist is raising alarms across the country, generating concerns that there is some truth in those theories about domestic detention camps, a roundup of dissidents and a crackdown on "threatening" conservatives.
The ads, at the GoArmy.com website as well as others including Monster.com, cite the need for:
"Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility. I/R Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to U.S. military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; and coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel.
The campaign follows by only weeks a report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warning about "right-wing extremists" who could pose a danger to the country including those who support third-party political candidates, oppose abortion and would prefer to have the U.S. immigration laws already on the books enforced.

Don’t believe me, huh? See post #60 for starters.
This non-"pandemic" has been hyped to the extreme, while it has a kill rate lower than most common flu strains.
ANY flu stain has a potential to mutate into a "pandemic", so why wasn't "Helping people at home permanent part of the active Army before now? Why weren't these 'detention camps' operational before now? We HAVE had "pandemics" before, such as the "pandemic" of 1968.
This is all BS to cover up for something much worse.
No you can’t eat ammo. You also cannot control the food supply when you are are dead.
This has been around since Nixon scared all the left wing hippies during Vietnam war days with so called US internment camp rumor. I believe this training is for overseas war zones.
Also, my 3 cats bring enough food in the form or rats, mice, birds, and asundry other small animals, that I wouldn’t starve.....I would just need an iron stomach....LOL!
Yes, the FEMA concentration camps have been around at least since the “Clinton Chronicles”...check You Tube for that. They were also mentioned during the Bush Administration. So go figure, they rear their ugly head during the One’s Administration. Really folks, we there’s enough bad stuff staring us in the face, we don’t have to go making stuff up. Vigilance yes, conspiracy, no.
I know, but the wing nuts don’t. My great nephew is in Afghanistan at the moment trying to punch holes in the scum.
This is for duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
For nearly 100 years, the military has had a role in post disaster recovery. The states have in the past had to ask for federal assistance. Katrina screwed that up when the governor and mayor just happened to forget to ask for that assistance.
If we go in, were going in to help American citizens on American soil, to save lives, provide critical life support, help clear debris, restore normalcy and support whatever local agencies need us to do, so its kind of a different role, said Cloutier, who, as the division operations officer on the last rotation, learned of the homeland mission a few months ago while they were still in Iraq.”
From the Army Times article.
Uh, no. You can shoot some food with a gun.
"I just think food is a basic RIGHT
It's a necessity, not a right.
But, if you don't do whatever is necessary to provide your own food, you don't have a right to eat mine.
In fact, I have a right to shoot you for trying to steal it.
And for the record, no, the government shouldn't be subsidizing, controlling food. But they do.
I have read world net daily articles before. I take them a grain of salt.
Thanks.
I’m not sure what to make of this subject matter. I don’t want to put on my tin-foil hat yet. I believe this type planning has been in motion since Katrina.
A few weeks ago I was researching “privacy” issues for a new blog post and came across an article (can’t find that specific link now, however see John Hopkins press release link below) on a large Baltimore hospital running a weekend long drill for a “pandemic flu” emergency and I believe the article said other “large” hospitals in several “large” metro areas were also performing these same drills.
As I understand this, the WHO was very late in recognizing the original source in MX although a small “data mining” software company picked up the chatter two weeks before this “flu” became public. I think some medical experts are comparing this new flu to 1918.
I would assume there are contingency ops plans finally being put into place in the event of a “pandemic” or other major event such as WMD or a small Nuke on an American city. A governmental body (i.e. National Guard and Active Army teams) would need to be immediately available for medical relief and crowd control/containment.
The aftermath of Katrina opened a lot of eyes. Pure speculation on my part. Read this NYT from 06 referencing the bird flu for an example.

Obama ist Democrat Party; Democrat Party ist Obama. Sig heil. Obama ist Amerika. Arbeit macht frei. Sig heil. Sig Heil.
Oh, they're not. They're just running the ads so that wacko right-wingers will say crazy things and they can ridicule us. /s
They held me for about a week, several days of that was being held in the Washington Coliseum with thousands of others of both sexes, with the National Guard guarding us with bayonets, no beds or blankets, little food and mandatory interviews with the FBI.
So, you admit that it wasn’t an internment camp it was a sporting arena!?! ;^)
Wow. You really have no idea who your talking to. LOL
Or did you mistake me for someone else?
Why not check the history of my past comments before you make wild accusations.
Anyone who thinks concentration camps are coming in the US because Obama is President needs to seriously recalibrate their sense of reality.
