An ad campaign featured on a U.S. Army website seeking those who would be interested in being an "Internment/Resettlement" specialist is raising alarms across the country, generating concerns that there is some truth in those theories about domestic detention camps, a roundup of dissidents and a crackdown on "threatening" conservatives.
The ads, at the GoArmy.com website as well as others including Monster.com, cite the need for:
"Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility. I/R Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to U.S. military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; and coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel.
The campaign follows by only weeks a report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warning about "right-wing extremists" who could pose a danger to the country including those who support third-party political candidates, oppose abortion and would prefer to have the U.S. immigration laws already on the books enforced.

Gotta use all those plastic coffin liners for something!!!! I know! Coffins!
This topic was posted months ago when Obama was ordering old military bases refurbished and converted into these "temporary resettlement camps".
We have to be prepared for a civil war. It's obvious Obama is not wasting any time.
These secret detention camps, Obama's recruiting of a national army of his own has to be uncovered and widely exposed
Yeah, their American Hiroshima series was a real winner. I stopped reading them after that. No Americans I know are going to willingly go to concentration camps...alive anwyay. Too many guns, too much ammo for that kind of nonesense.
We are not Russian/Chinese peasants, we are not the jews circa 1930’s. Any signifcant effort in that regard will be met with much violent resistance, and we got the goods to do it. Its an Obama pipe dream (wet dream) that will never happen, at least, will never succeed.
This article sounds like fear-mongering. The internment probably has to do with closing Gitmo and moving the prisoners here. I would hope it's not for interning its own citizens for political opposition (smell something fishy? - call the White House!). I don't think even the Dems would go along with interning all Conservatives, would they? < ;[
Ya know, that could be taken a couple of different ways.
You mean you didn't order the Franklin Mint limited edition collector plate of the first African pres__ent loose bowel movement in the White House? Racist! /s
Obama’s civilian security force — as well funded as the military, as he says — horrifies me.
But I haven’t seen anything credible regarding the secret detention camps. If you have a good link on this, I’d love to see it (sincerely... that’s not a challenge).
The military personnel working at Gitmo today are essentially, if not exactly, what this job description outlines. I don’t find it unsettling at all that the Army is hiring for such positions. Who else is going to guard military prisoners?
Google ‘FEMA concentration camps in the USA’ and there is a lot of information about recent work in these camps.
I pray this is a lotta hype about nothing, but the more I know, the more I wish I didn’t know.
Somebody has figured out that those of who go to work every day have had it?
Do not believe this nonsense, if you do, you are making a fool of yourself.
This Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) has been around for at least 75 years. These guys work at the military prison at Ft Leavenworth (U.S. Disciplinary Barracks), but in recent years also at Gitmo, and in Iraq and Afghanistan where they have dealt with suspected insurgents.
In World War II, they were responsible for POW’s, refugees, and other internees. Lot’s of them in post war Germany.
Don’t get worked up into a lather over this, there’s nothing there. Spend your time on the truly dangerous things that the Obama gang is doing.
you mean Jim Thompson??
The text of the ad hasn’t been altered in at least four years. If they’d inserted the word “domestic” somewhere in there, this listing might mean something. But it doesn’t.
That dooesn’t mean there won’t be political prisoners in the age of Obama. Socialism cannot exist without political police and political prisoners, to paraphrase Churchill. It just means that this job posting doesn’t offer any evidence of it.
I agree 100 and 10%
I like Cake too.
I’m quite sure they already have me flagged@whitehouse.gov. However I still receive Obama’s emails to the faithful. They want me to report to the nearest town hall meeting to denounce the partisan, racist lies about health insurance reform, then to go to my Congressman’s office in person to express my unwavering support for same. Why is there still a “DONATE” button on every Obama email? Donate to what?
Hay guys, guess what. I heard the Army isn't just recruiting prison guards, they're also recruiting heavily armed and highly trained professional killers. Trust No 1!
I wouldn't say so. Obama himself mentioned even before he was elected that he wanted to establish a national police force. For what reason? why these "resettlement camps"? Clearly they aren't for Gitmo terrorists. Those are released into the general population.
While these particular recruiting ads many be nothing by themselves, a lot of other things going on are cause for great concern, things Obama and Ayers have been involved in for years.
Ya think the WH is planting this article to bait and rile people up?
It’s good to be aware, but don’t panic like they want.
Google ‘FEMA concentration camps in the USA’ and there’s a lot of interesting stuff out there on this topic.
Best to take it all with a grain of salt.
