Is your Congressman still popular with the folks in your district?

Well, I just moved to the area, so I can't really say. I don't think so just based on the local talk radio station. Many were angry that he is not having a meeting and that when he replies to e-mail and letters it's with a canned response that says he will not vote for the bill as it stands now. Now what that means don't ask me.... I do know that the great Senator Jeff Sessions is holding a healthcare reform meeting in Huntsville at a hospital near to the area the rep is from. It is being touted as a poke in the eye of the rep. for not doing it himself. I wouldn't doubt it, because Mr. Sessions would play subtle hard ball as we called it when we lived in MOntgomery and he was the attorney general. He is very savvy. :) I plan to go to that meeting if I can get in.
