Sorry to be the skunk at the tea party, but our very grassroots nature is now working against us. The media can make up whatever they want in the absence of spokespersons and a consolidated agenda. I don’t like it, but that’s the way it is.

That's a very good observation. The first question then becomes, how many people out there agree with us? The second question then is, for those that do agree, are they turned off by the so-called antics, or getting more frustrated by the driveby media's and democrats attempt to portray us as a "right-wing rabble"?

I'm hearing that many of the people protesting are democrats, or vote democrat. Are we all hearing the same? Is it true?

If it is, then good, they won't be happy by the smear they're organized by the GOP. If it's not true, then where are our organizers?

And Chris Wallace, if you're reading this, an email--one that very few of us FReepers, for example, heard of--is NOT organization!

Maryland has an entrenched democrat voter majority, and I am hearing ‘mainstream’ democrats calling talk shows as angry about Obamacare as any conservative.

Bottom line: most Americans can see that whatever health care insurance plan they now have will be negatively impacted by Pelosi/Obama’s plans.

Our vaunted ‘journalists’ do not see this dynamic yet, because they prefer to stick with dnc story lines instead of their own eyes and ears.

It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that the tea parties were filled with angry taxpayers.....not just conservatives (the most despised), the GOP (next most despised), Blue Dogs (becoming despised), and average taxpayers (suckers). The media is losing their control of the viewers and they want control back so they Pooh Pooh the tea parties. I don't think anyone on this board will fall for any of the above.

Polling data puts it 41% favorable to protesters, 35% anti , the rest cannot be bothered to pay attention.
