More than anything the media coverage reminds me of the way they cover voter fraud. Somehow, no matter how thuggish the Dem groups behave, the media focuses on “GOP voter suppression”. Indict dozens of ACORN workers? The media treats them as individuals, not part of an “organization”. Discarded military ballots...they didn’t meet the deadline! Felons voting...well, why shouldn’t they?! (even though it’s...well, a felony!)
It’s maddening. I went to Florida during the 2000 recount. The media were all set to portray us as paid-for mobs and thugs. Actually, it was our humor that tempered them a little. (Not that I’m ignoring that now they’ve returned to their meme that we were a Brooks Brothers mob.)
You guys were great with that Florida vote mess - and yeah - they were gunning for you and you overcame... It was a proud moment for all Freepers... even those of us just watching from our keyboards.
